Amy’s first stage show was back in 1988. She was in second grade then, and did an afternoon show for about 450 students. She repeated the show that evening for about the same number of people, but this time it was for adults. Amy must have liked the response, because she kept it up, year after year. By sixth grade, she was levitating her fellow students, and in junior high she sawed one of her teachers in half.
In 1991 she joined a newly formed Portland chapter of the Society of Young Magicians. She was elected President and held the position for the first three years.
At 18 years of age she had the honor of becoming the youngest person ever to be initiated into the Portland assembly of the Society of American Magicians.
From high school on through college and beyond Amy has been performing professionally at parties, restaurants, and corporate functions.
